Ingredients
- • 1.5 lbs roast (top round or sirloin tip are the best)
- • 8oz au jus (I use Johnny's French Dip Sauce but you can substitute your own)
- • to taste salt and pepper
Process
- 1. pour 8 cups of water, 8oz of au jus, 8oz soup base into big pot
- 2. brown roast in a skillet with seasoning as needed
- 3. chop up roast to desired pieces size
- 5. add more au jus or soup base to desired taste
- 6. add roast and noodles to soup
- 7. let simmer on medium heat for approximately 2 hours
