Variations of on/off.

When troubleshooting things, make sure that on/off and all variations or subvariations thereof are set to 'on'.

This includes, but is not limited to: Speakers on/off.

Tech support rule 1: KISS.

What if you are doing tech support on a quantum system, then you have to account for the superposition state of on/off at the same time :P
