They countered… I’M GETTING IT!!!!!

This morning my agent called me and the sellers decided to split the difference between my offer and theirs, which is exactly what I was hoping that they would do.

I will be accepting the offer.

The next step is inspections: standard, termite, radon. There is still scariness here, a bad inspection could be really bad news. But the house looks to be in good shape and I'm very, very hopeful that the inspections will turn out favorably.

Update 9:46am: I just made an appointment for a standard and pest inspection at 8:30am Monday. I'll know pretty damn soon, which is a huge relief.
