The toys have started to arrive.

I got my Neoprene Sleeve, iWork, and a mini-DVI to DVI adapter from Apple today. They were supposed to arrive last night but it said Delivery Exception, that they tried to deliver and I wasn't here. I asked her about it this morning - since I was here and refreshed the tracker to see that; and she just thought it was too late to attempt delivery. Irritating, but semi-reasonable. The Macbook is still showing as arriving by 10:30am tomorrow morning.

I wish the Marware items would arrive, as I really am loathe to use the computer until I have the palm-guards in place.

The computer is almost ready for me to use the Migration Assistant and move everything over. I have all the cables I'll need. My RAM isn't here yet, I wish it, too, would arrive, but I can survive a few days on a gig of RAM, I guess.

Whee!!

Sounds shiny!

Personally, I can’t seem to get out of XP. I tried Vista at school and HATED it. Too many graphics, it’s crappy for accessibility. Has some cooler features like easier high contrast but overall…crappy. *sniff*

Macs seem cool, though I’ve only used a couple. What inspired this Mac purchase?

Oh, I’ve always loved Macs; and I work all day on one. Unfortunately, it’s many years old and very quickly failing and being unable to keep up, so it was a good excuse for a new Mac.

But I’m sure there’s something in a shade of grey…
Something in between…
