The next few days are going to be crazy!

So, the next few days are going to be an absolute flutter of activity. I'm all packed for SXSW (minus toiletries of course). I'm leaving here Friday at 8:00am for the airport.

Tonight I'll be spending time finishing off packing. I only have 3 boxes left, so if I run out, I'll finish packing tomorrow night.

Tomorrow I work as normal, and in the morning I should be able to get the keys. In the afternoon, I am meeting my roof guy at the house to go over the last details, and am hoping to meet a locksmith there to change the locks. I don't want to schedule that til I have the current keys though.

Tomorrow afternoon I also take the cats to the vet for boarding. Normally, I would say a cat would be fine for a weekend alone - but my cats are very special - notably they like to be together, and Mali has to be medicated 3 times a day at minimum, as well as hand-fed 3-5 times a day. She's still losing weight, slowly but definitely, over time.

Friday morning I'll wake up and clear out any emails, then head to the airport. Most of the day will be spent in transit. Saturday is a completely jam-packed day of presentations and parties. Sunday Brunch I'll attend of course.

Monday I fly back disgustingly early, arriving at 12:30pm. I'll go get the cats and get some food and comfort into them, then come home and make absolutely sure I'm finished packing. Then an early, early night's sleep.

Tuesday I have off from work. The movers arrive at 9am. The roofers start early. Verizon arrives between 1 and 3 to get FIOS hooked up.

Tuesday night, I'm having a small pizza party at the new house, and just kicking back and enjoying life.

At some point later that week I'll make sure this apartment is emptied out and return the keys. But as of Tuesday, I'll be in the new house, unless something doesn't go to plan.

So, craziness until Tuesday night. Then I can settle into being a homeowner.

I better get the keys tomorrow. The deed is being recorded first thing and funds released around the same time, and it should be done. The seller did not leave the keys at the title company, so I'm just waiting for a call back from my agent to figure out when I get the keys.

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
