So,
I have been stretching my ears towards the ultimate goal of stopping and getting a large gauge plug that looks beautiful. No standard stainless steel for me. I believe that I have settled on this gorgeous Opal spinner from BodyVision; which I can get from my local jeweler (Straight to the Point, here by Tanasbourne). The image is a screenshot directly from the BodyVision page.
I can get this in a variety of colors, including black, blue, or the white as pictured here. I'll be going for blue, in yellow gold, of course. It's double flared, so my jeweler will have to insert it. It's also expensive - and it will be the thing that stay sin my ears at all times, so I have to make sure it's sturdy. I've seen the one in the shop though, and it appears to be quite sturdy.
Ain't it gorgeous? =) This kind of jewelry is what got me into the stretching game in the first place, so I'm really thrilled to finally be near my goal. =)
What is your ultimate goal? Those look pretty big.
I once was 00g, but I stopped wearing my stainless tunnels a few years ago. It turns out that the retail industry frowns on such things. I came across them a few weeks back and really miss them! I still wear a pair of 4g captive bead rings on occasion though.
May the force be with ya’ll.
I’m at 7/16ths right now, my final (and next) stretch is 1/2”.
Lots of people in retail here have large gauge jewelry in, so I think it may just be your area as opposed to the retail industry in general. =)
Oh… and I’m not in retail, so hey. :)
But I’m sure there’s something in a shade of grey…
Something in between…
People do have piercings here, but I’m in management and not allowed. I’d love to go 1/2”, but the thought of starting over doesn’t sound too fun.
May the force be with ya’ll.
I agree, I’m not sure if I would stretch again if I had to start over; such a pain in the y’know-what. =)
But I’m sure there’s something in a shade of grey…
