Self-scheduled exam

Meh my polling isn't working. Quick: should I take my final at:

1: Today's evening session 2: Tomorrow's morning session 3: Tomorrow's afternoon session 4: Tomorrow's evening session

I want this done by tomorrow. I don't feel like more time to read the materials can hurt, and we have the essay question already so I can spend more time thinking on that (can't bring my answer, but can prepare mentally) Plus, tomorrow's morning session will be empty - there's a major event here that many Smithies will attend. I'm tempted by that session, since I don't like being around a lot of people. I could nap this evening, wake up and do some reading then go to the morning session.

The only advantage to doing it tonight would be getting it out of the way. I don't feel that pressured, though, and don't really feel like doing an evening exam. Eh.

Thoughts? Help me out here!

I vote for option 5…..

Wait..there is no option 5. OK, so Option 5 should be “at the local Chili’s bar”....I’d say that’s a fantastic place for a final. LOL.

(Of course, I am no longer in a continuum of higher education, so that may possibly have something to do with my bias. Ha! :) )

The Chili’s here stinks. I could totally dig taking it at Packards (a bar/pool hall) or at the Haymarket (coffee shop).

Unfortunately, we can’t take them out of the building. We do get to choose our classroom…

I’ve decided on tomorrow morning or afternoon. Gives me tonight to study and I don’t have to worry about my shift at work or dinner issues or anything. =)

But I’m sure there’s something in a shade of grey…
Something in between…

I’m so glad ours (Chilis) is great; I really love them. Give me that mushroom swiss burger any old day. And blackberry iced tea. Yeehaw. LOL

Good luck tomorrow!

Oh, and thanks, re: my site. It’s constantly a work in progress. I keep a backup of the original template at all times so that I can play and do new things. :)

Blackberry iced tea. I have got to try that.

And thank you =) Hopefully I’ll get enough reading tonight that tomorrow won’t be luck-based *grins*

A copy? I break *this* site, publicly.  It’s far more fun…. ;)

That tea rocks; I don’t know if you make your own iced tea, but if you do & there’s a Starbucks near you? Go there and buy a big old thing of their blackberry syrup. $10 a pop, but it lasts a while, and it’s now a staple in my home because Chili’s has spoiled us so…

Oh yes, a copy….pffft, I break the main template by accident enough as it is. Haha!

There’s a starbucks right down the street, I’ll give that a shot.

Hey, breaking things is what I’m here for.  But part of what makes me good at tech support is, as I told Solspace the other day, I’ve broken *my* site often enough that I know how to fix most things, or at least find the cause. ;)

You know, I’ve been doing the web design thing for about 7.5 years now. My husband and friends think I have mad talent, but it’s only because they can’t do any of what I do. LOL. I keep thinking I’ll go back to school and study design, but then I worry I’ll lose my love of it….because it’s definitely NOT what I ever expected I might be halfway good at. LOL

I have so much to learn; I remember I actually tried EE a couple of years ago and was so intimidated by it that I went back to MT. I finally just bit the big one and haven’t looked back. Tons more to learn obviously, but I’m in it for the long haul, or at least until the road dead ends… :)

Do you know that my first attempt to use EE failed miserably? I couldn’t even get it to install. I abandoned it for a year… then they gave away 1000 licenses and I started using it.

On a different host.

The people that try to install it on the host I tried *still* have problems *grins* It’s a terrible host.

I think you do a great job, the design is absolutely gorgeous.
