Redesign, early mornings, and masks.

So, I have mostly completed the redesign. It needs some finishing touches, including perhaps making the headers in the right column nicer, and adding a comments header, and even perhaps adding images for the lists.

However, I really, really like the way it looks now, so while there may be some minor refinements along the way - I've gone ahead and pushed it live.

So, what happened to the distant, early morning motif? It's still here! I'll grant you that there is no longer a giant, sparkling image that reflects the name. However, there's something about a mask that appeals to me; it is about layers, just like the symbolism behind a distant morning is about the layers of time. Identity and time combined - it's poetic and it appeals to me. So, here they are - converged.

I hope you all enjoy the site; I feel it's a big step up from what was here before. At the very least I enjoy it more - and since I look at it more than anyone else, I may as well, eh?

Why thank you, Bobby!  That is a huge boost to my confidence.  I wasn’t sure if going with such a dark site was right for this particular site; though I love them in general.

The Edit Profile link is added now, to the right in the sidebar.  As for the writing - it’s still there, I just have not decided quite how to handle the permissions for that.  I may need to siphon it out to its own template for my ultimate happiness.  I’ll have it resolved today hopefully. =)
