Putting in an offer on Friday…

I found the house I want only a few minutes away from here. There was an offer on it but it was rejected, so there may be some competition if they go back and re-offer. We'll have to see. The house is 2400 square feet on a .23 acre lot in an amazing location and an absolutely gorgeous neighborhood. It is leaps and bounds better than any other house I've looked at, and also leaps and bounds more expensive. However, it is well worth it and in an area that has managed to appreciate (slightly) while the national market has depreciated. It is a really safe area to buy in and I feel it is an amazing investment. I'll have to stretch for it, but it is worth it.

Tomorrow I am looking at the only other house for sale in that area, then Wendy and Chris are coming to look at this house. If all goes well, then Friday morning I will be putting in an offer.

It is really stunning, and I really, really, really want it. This is the first house I've felt that I would actually be fairly heartbroken to lose it; even the other one I made an offer on I wasn't this attached.
