Portland tonight!

This evening marks my first trip into Portland, as well as a few other firsts about which I am somewhat nervous. Updates after the event. Dinner at 7, I'm leaving around 5:30 to make sure I get there in time for the 7pm dinner. If I get there early I'll have some time to wander around and see the area. Still undecided about if I should take the MAX or drive in. The MAX sounds easier but it means getting to and from the fairly close MAX station. And a monorail is pretty cool, unlikely to hit traffic or get lost. But then I don't have a car... but then I can't crash my car, or get irritated by bad drivers, you see?
