Please put on American music, or get me your manager!

So, I needed some Pacific Northwest winter appropriate boots - that didn't mean I needed my old boots, those were overkill.

So I headed to REI - I have terrible feet so Payless is not a good place for me to shop; the only way I can even help my feet is with high quality shoes.

I was there browsing when this... female person (?) asked the sales lady to turn off the Spanish music and put on "American" music. She was refused (politely, the sales person has no control over the music, after all) - so she demanded the manager. Then she ranted about non-English music being played in America. She was looking glancing between me and the sales lady and another watcher when she said that, then said, "isn't it irritating?".

I caught her eye and very seriously responded, "No. You are irritating."

She stomped off. I sure hope she's not representative of the area here. I wonder what she thought of my hair. winks

A little while later a little girl said, "Mom, she has BLUE hair, it's beautiful! I've never seen blue hair."

Blue!
