Plagiarism tidbits: Wikipedia

Plagiarism from Wikipedia is very common and specially stupid, however some nice fellow decided to utilise Google to find out how much of Wikipedia itself is plagiarised, article in Slashdot. The slashdot leads to an article in the Sydney Morning Herald.

Interesting reading. One wonders how many plagiarism cases that are found to be using Wikipedia could actually be sourced even further back.... makes a note That would make such cases even more egregious, but how far back should we really spend our time researching? After all, does the plagiarist really care if they're stealing from Wikipedia, that it came from something else?

Probably not.
