New 1/2” ear plugs, new barbell, and the waiting game…

So, I got sick of my silicon plugs and wanted something more decorative. I chose these. I usually like the ones where you can see-through, but these were just so purty, so I decided to try a different style. I like these, they're double-tapered so no o-ring to fall off (I thought they'd be much harder to get in actually, but they were easy), and they're just a really nice, glass design.

I also did some food shopping.

As far as the house, I'm just waiting on the seller. I'll know by Friday what is happening with the house, but I fully expect that the day after I return form SXSW, I'll be signing a lot of paperwork.

I just can't wait to get in there and fix up the things that need fixing. There are two things that need to be done before I move in:

1. Roof
2. Professional Cleaning

Chris and Wendy invited me over for dinner last night and helped me go through the inspection report to prioritize what needs doing. That helped a lot to bring some perspective and less panic. It's still going to cost a fair bit of money but it's easily worth it.

I just can't wait. It's gorgeous out here today and I'm really wishing I had my backyard to enjoy. Patience, patience...
