Subaru = I own a Subaru Impreza RX
My car hasn't been accepting gas for a long time, clicking off as though it were full even when empty, after about 5 seconds. She's been in the shop 4 times for this.
Today they finally found the problem. They had a new part and were dismantling the gas tank to try to find the issue, but it turned out nothing was wrong with the car. There was a spider nest in the pipe. Possibly a butterly cocoon, they weren't sure.
Anyhow, not covered by warranty but only cost $90 It explains the sudden-ness of it breaking, and why it was so hard to find. I'm relieved that it wasn't something actually wrong with the car.
Nature, how I love thee. What lesson was I meant to learn from this, I wonder?
