Ok, yellow and black. It's healing, I still don't want to bend it and I haven't DDR'd because the thought of wearing sneakers makes my head spin with the pain of it all.
I met Kurt, the owner of NetRaising, yesterday for lunch. He and I have become acquainted through the forums since he uses ExpressionEngine for his projects. So when I moved to the area, since he is based out of Portland, it made sense to meet him. The zoo was a great choice, it was sunny and beautiful so we ate outside at the Cascade Grill.
Because lunch went a bit longer than expected, I hurried home to find out that I had only missed two posts in the forums - normally my shift is back-to-back posts. I caught up on some more work and then napped. At 7pm I pulled at Warioware for the first time since I bought it. You see, I was frustrated when I first played it. It was hilarious, yes - but I wasn't able to get the moves down. But this time I played for 2 hours then realized I'd played for 2 hours and forced myself to stop. Warioware is worth purchasing the Wii for, that and Tennis. Seriously. C & W mentioned they had never heard of Katamari Damacy, though, so I need to introduce them to that on my PS2.
I also broke my site upgrading to jQuery 1.2 - Superfish and my Accordion broke, so I backed down to 1.1.4 for now. The animations seem busted but you can, once again, navigate the site. Also, I received an email that said my RSS feeds didn't exist - they did, but no links to them, so there are now links at the bottom for the public RSS feeds.
J is visiting this weekend and I'm super excited about that, though I haven't the foggiest idea what we'll do over the weekend.
Meanwhile, Mali and Kayne are doing incredibly well.
That's it for todays' update, I think. Sometime next week there may be a somewhat difficult (for me to write) post about the decision involving Mali's kidney transplant. We'll see. But I need to write it out to get it all straight in my head, so why not subject you all to it, eh?
