On dad’s camera.  I’m awaiting him sending some of those pictures to me. =)

But I’m sure there’s something in a shade of grey…
Something in between…

Very nice! What was you major, if I may ask? (If it’s on the diploma, I can’t see it. LOL Or rather, I can’t read it clearly.)

I majored in English Language & Literature. =)

Ah ha! Another English major! (Though you can’t tell per my blog. LOL)

My mother actually used the word “peeps” in reference to “people” the other day, and it made my skin crawl….LOL.

Very nice, I wish I could read to see what you majored in, care to inform those who haven’t been following your site as closely as they should have been what you got your degree in?

Also, didn’t know Smith was an all female school. Yes, I got bored and was perusing their website.

I’m an idiot, helps to actually read the comments.

Brian - don’t worry about it.  I’m happy to answer the same question many times, that is often what my job involves, too. *winks*

Funny enough I didn’t know Smith was all female until they accepted me and I actually started to research it.  At that point I didn’t realize that the U.S. had *any* single-gendered colleges left.

It was an especially interesting experience because of that, I think…..

I almost said I didn’t know all female/male colleges exist anymore, but didn’t want to offend anyone:)

Feel free to speak your mind here, Brian. =)

There are times when I wish I’d attended a co-ed institution, but there was also something very interesting about the women-only environment.  It could be empowering at times, but there were other times when I just wondered how we can expect total equality if we keep setting ourselves apart.

That said - Gloria Steinem’s speech was a highlight of my time at Smith - and there was something there that wouldn’t have felt quite the same at a co-ed college. =)

” It could be empowering at times, but there were other times when I just wondered how we can expect total equality if we keep setting ourselves apart. ”

There is a whole can of worms there that I will not open:) But anyway, congrats again on the graduation.

Now you can go out, get a kick ass job, and become rich.

Yea, it was a loaded question.  Not really appropriate to comments - more of a summation of my thoughts having attended Smith.

Become rich? Maybe - hopefully find a career I find enriching and enjoyable?  Definitely. =)

Something in between…
