Mom’s Brownies
Ingredients
- 1 stick butter
- 2 squares of unsweetened chocolate
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup walnuts (optional)
Process
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Melt the butter and chocolate together by placing together in the microwave until it’s melted.
- After it melts, put the mixture into a bowl with the eggs and vanilla. Add the sugar and flour and mix well.
- Pour combination into an 8-inch square, well-greased pan.
- Bake in 350-dgree over for approximately one half hour.
- To test: place toothpick inside brownies and pull out - if it comes out clean, the brownies are done. Allow to cool down before cutting.
Variations
Add walnuts if desired.
