Mom’s Brownies


Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 squares of unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup walnuts (optional)

Process

  • Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Melt the butter and chocolate together by placing together in the microwave until it’s melted.
  • After it melts, put the mixture into a bowl with the eggs and vanilla. Add the sugar and flour and mix well.
  • Pour combination into an 8-inch square, well-greased pan.
  • Bake in 350-dgree over for approximately one half hour.
  • To test: place toothpick inside brownies and pull out - if it comes out clean, the brownies are done. Allow to cool down before cutting.

Variations

Add walnuts if desired.
