Mali, pinky toes, and stuff.

I just spoke with Dr. Huff, and I heard from her a few days ago. Mali's liver is back in range, and her kidneys values are in the range of a fully healthy cat, she has no UTI - in short: she's perfect.

Except that her kidneys are congenitally defective: "Those of a 19 year old cat."

Anyhow, Mali is staying on her full course of medication until we found out if she's a transplant candidate; and if so, if I am going ahead with it. This is an extraordinarly difficult decision due to a variety of factors, and I'll discuss that in another post.

Yesterday I vacuumed, and while emptying the canister, I rammed my pinky toe into a corner of a wall. Today it is black. Ouch.

I am also very tired.

I also could not take my test for my Oregon license today - my NYS birth certificate does not have my gender on it; so they can't take it at the DMV. So, I need to get a new social security card because I misplaced mine. I thought I knew exaclty where it was, but it's not there.

But tomorrow should be a good day - I'm meeting a work acquaintence for lunch and hopefully I'll catch up on sleep tonight as well.

J is coming down to visit this weekend, and I'm extremely excited about that, I haven't seen him in years.

yawns and goes back to sleep
