I hate cleaning.

So, while this apartment has stayed about 200x cleaner than my old apartment; it still had accrued some untidiness. A few days ago I re-arranged a little bit (and ended up putting most things back in their original place, nrr.) and so now I have a fair bit more open space. Today I cleaned up that open space, vacuumed, wiped down newly exposed surfaces. I also did two loads of laundry.

I am still really bad at actually putting laundry away - I don't even have to fold stuff, just hang it, but there it is, on the floor. Hey, at least I have a closet now, the mess is hidden.

But I had also been looking at some pictures of the entertainment center and realized that all my DDR pads and crap were making it look like a terrible mess, so I put all of those in the closet and it once again looks like a nice, sleek setup. I still want to get another couch or love-seat or something, to add more seating options here. I have room, too, but I'm not sure how I want to handle it. I have concluded that the recliner needs to be where it is to recline; as does the couch. But I could put a love-seat to bracket off the room, or even in front of the sliding glass window to the patio; just leaving room to walk behind it to go out to the patio. That would make getting my bike out considerably more difficult, though, so I'll need to consider it carefully.

I really need to get my oil painting re-frames and hung above the couch, too.

I need a maid, maybe I should get someone to come by bi-monthly to make sure this place stays in order. That'd kinda rock; I bet it wouldn't be that expensive, either.
