I am now officially a Smith Alumna.
I graduated. It was indoors because it was raining this morning - now it's gorgeous out.
It was a beautiful ceremony though, and Gloria Steinem is an amazing speaker and here is a link to a transcript of her speech. I'll post pictures when I have them, as well as a picture of my diploma.
I can't believe it's over. I graduated - from Smith College.
It might sink in someday.

Congratulations, Lisa! and welcome (back) to the Real World™. Sadly, the real world isn’t much what it’s cracked up to be, but I know you’ll make a fine addition to it. Now about that post-graduation congratulatory trip…. ;-)

Jon, oh my god!! 3 years ago you encouraged me to go with Smith rather than a lesser school - and I did - and I made it, and thank you. I’ve missed you =)
