Got my cap, gown and ivy day outfit.

So today I went to the bookstore and purchased my cap and gown, then headed down to the mall (unaware of the incoming storm) and purchased a white skirt, white shirt, and some undergarments that wouldn't show through. How I hate wearing white. :(

But - that all makes me ready for rehearsals and graduation. Exciting!

The sad part of the journey was when I did my normal check in at the pet store to make sure there were no elkhound puppies. Guess what? There was one. A pretty poor specimen, but it is a pet store. Didn't have the best personality either - I did play with him, I admit it. But even so, it was extremely hard to leave him in that pet store. At least he was in one of the bigger cages, with a german shepherd mate that he appeared to like quite a bit. I am not a proponent of purchasing dogs or cats from pet stores, but I also am not a proponent of elkhounds being in pet stores at all - the lesser or two evils, eh. There are actually organizations for many pure-breds that will go out and rescue these dogs from pet stores. They're pretty interesting projects.

Mali hasn't stopped sniffing me since I got home. I think she wants her very own puppy; she did, after all, grow up with a doberman. whistles innocently Wonder what Kayne would think....

I HAVE MY CAP AND GOWN AND I'M GRADUATING SUNDAY.
