First adventure in cat boarding.

It looks like I'll be spending the weekend away from home; so this will be my first time attempting to board the cats. I have booked them in from Friday - Monday (before noon). It will cost $90.80 which will include all their medication needs (I bring the meds, the tech dispense). The vets know just how special needs Mali is, so this won't be a problem at all. Mali will also have her ears re-checked while there.

And if I ended up not going away for the weekend, I can cancel on Thursday.

I have to bring them in Friday before 5:30 so that they can get settled in, so will probably bring them in around 2:30 or so. This is as much of a break for me as it is a test to see how they handle boarding. If I want to go to Seattle, or back home to NY, then I'll need to board them because of just how special needs Mali is; and Kayne and her are too close to break up for a weekend or more.

I'm really nervous about this, but I know that they'll be in good hands, and Dr. Huff works on Saturdays too, so she'll be there if Mali is crashing.

Now I just have to write up instructions for their feeding and meds and bring it in with them.

It'll be good to have a break; I hope that they do ok with this. I think that they will.
