Decorating Walls

So, at Orycon 29, I purchased a lot of great new artwork. One of those pieces is a personalized and signed set of art for The Last Unicorn - a limited edition set (only 500 prints) - I got 160/500, the full set.

And here is an entire picture of the wall behind the dining room table. It really looks a lot better than before when there was no art.

I have a whole lot of art on the other walls, which I'll post at some point. What I need to do is create a database of all the art, the artist, the date of purchase, and the original purchase price, so that I can track that over time. I think I'll do that over this week.

I'm really getting into the fantasy art genre and really enjoying it. I have a signed set of books by Ursula Le Guin as well, personalized to me; as well as the special edition of the book The Lost Unicorn by Peter S. Beagle, that I got at Orycon. It's all really exciting to be going down this path.

I have also booked a hotel and registered for RustyCon. There's also a winter ball that I'll be attending in December, I believe. I need a gown for that, though.

Exciting times, I think I've finally found a social niche that I am comfortable in and excited about.
