Cleaning frenzy and gift receiving!

Edit 10:21pm: Family arrives in an hourish. Finally got the bathroom cleaned up. Definitely more than hour worth of cleanup left. Hide 3 loads of laundry in bottom of closet? Check. I suck at folding laundry, seriously. Once it's clean isn't that enough? sighs

As I got home from rehearsal today, I was chatting with my neighbor and she mentioned I had a package. So I went and picked it up. It appears that one of the folks from the forums sent me a present: Fight Club DVD set off my wishlist. Nifty. I can not wait to watch that again, and again, and again.

Today I discovered that my family could attend Ivy Day. They had booked their hotel room from Friday night through Sunday but weren't going to come up until Saturday - but with that discovery thus moved up their plans - and I have been cleaning all friggin' day. This place is still a complete mess but I've made a lot of progress. They get here around 11 o'clock tonight at the earliert so I still have time, but gah. I don't know how clean I can get this in time and I am starving, too - haven't eaten since before rehearsal.

Also - wish me luck. I ran out of Cat Attract and have long wanted to see if Kayne was over his "only poop outside the litter bin" phase - it's been a year and a half of steady litter-box usage after all. So I put in a big bag of my preferred litter -and I think Mali's - The Worlds Best cat Litter: Extra Strength for multi-cat households. So far, so good. I hope it keeps up - this stuff is much better with handling smells and is much easier to source around here.

Dinner then back to cleaning for me. Have to ajax the bathroom.... whistles
