Chocolate Chip Cookies


Ingredients

  • 2 Eggs
  • 8oz (225g) Brown Sugar
  • 4oz (100g) Granulated Sugar
  • 8oz (225g) Softened Butter
  • 1 1/4lb (500g) Flour
  • 1/2tsp Salt
  • 1tsp Baking Powder
  • 2tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 8oz (225g) Chocolate Chips

Process

  • Beat the sugar & butter together, add the eggs whilst still beating along with the vanilla essence. Sift the flour, baking powder & salt together and add to the mix along with the choc chips.
  • Chill the cookie dough for 10-15 mins before flattening small walnut size pieces onto a baking sheet.
  • Bake in a pre-heated oven for 10-12 minutes. Oven at 375F (190C / Gas 5).
  • The dough will keep wrapped in the fridge for upto a week so you can bake a few at a time.
