Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
- 2 Eggs
- 8oz (225g) Brown Sugar
- 4oz (100g) Granulated Sugar
- 8oz (225g) Softened Butter
- 1 1/4lb (500g) Flour
- 1/2tsp Salt
- 1tsp Baking Powder
- 2tsp Vanilla Essence
- 8oz (225g) Chocolate Chips
Process
- Beat the sugar & butter together, add the eggs whilst still beating along with the vanilla essence. Sift the flour, baking powder & salt together and add to the mix along with the choc chips.
- Chill the cookie dough for 10-15 mins before flattening small walnut size pieces onto a baking sheet.
- Bake in a pre-heated oven for 10-12 minutes. Oven at 375F (190C / Gas 5).
- The dough will keep wrapped in the fridge for upto a week so you can bake a few at a time.
