Canceled my deposit on the condo.

I was going through it and realized that it had nearly everything I didn't want, and nothing that I really did want.

It was breathtaking, I got totally caught up in it. But it was a non-binding deposit. She gave me back the un-deposited check today and I shredded it.

On with the search!

Hi Lisa. Congratulations on deciding to hold out and look for what you really want. You won’t regret it. I just bought my first home about 8 months ago and it took me over a year to find exactly what I wanted. It was an exhausting process but worth every minute of it. I wish you lots of luck and hope you find exactly what you are looking for.

Thank you for the encouragement, Ven, and congratulations on your new home! I hope it doesn’t take me a year; my goal is to move before my lease is up on this place n June. ;)  But if it takes a year, so be it.

Still, there’s 100s of properties for sale in this area, many new constructions, so it’s an easier market to buy in at this time.  Part of why I want to buy now!

But I’m sure there’s something in a shade of grey…
Something in between…
