An update on the house.

Yesterday I received a counter from the seller and accepted it. We are now both legally under contract, and all that is left is to go through to closing - which means waiting on the bank to do their stuff.

The bank says they may be ready as early as late next week. That would mean a courtesy signing from the seller as she is out of town on vacation. I suspect I'll have to close after SXSW, but I'm really hopeful for an earlier close.

All I can do now, though, is wait. Excitedly. I can't wait to have this house!!
