An evening out.

I actually left my apartment last night and stayed out until about 3pm today. When I came home I had a note from the heater repair-guy saying it was all set. He only left it around 70 so it was a bit not warm, but I cranked it up and it's a good temperature now.

So, where did I go? Well I have some friends (WoW, I know) initialed T and E. T and E are friends - T lives in Westfield and E lives in PA. E came up here to visit T so I went to T's to hang out, LAN, drink. For E's visit, he had mentioned that he had never tried Johnny Walker Blue and wanted to. Well, that stuff is $200 and I just had to know why.

Now I know.

I hadn't slept in awhile and I had a few glasses of this and a thing of the beer he brought from PA. It was over a few hours so I wasn't really super drunk, but I was nicely buzzed and exhausted. Around 4 or 4:30 am the computers were shut down and there was just some conversing til around 6am. I don't remember the time from 6am to 1pm as I was apparently fast asleep. That marks the first time I've actually successfully slept through an entire "night" at someone else's abode.

This afternoon I packed up my laptop (which was being stupid yesterday, sigh) and came home. Had some lunch, a nice hot shower, reveled in my nice, now warm apartment. Now I'm snuggling with Mali and writing this. It was a good evening and I had thought I mightn't go, but I'm happy that I did. Was a lot of fun getting to hang out with friends while still gaming and stuff.
