Almost entirely migrated.

So I spent much of this evening cleaning up, but mostly migrating my data from the G4 and Vaio to this Macbook. I have almost everything moved over except for my years, and years, and years, and years of email. This is a source of great concern to me. I've installed Thunderbird and imported from Outlook to Thunderbird, but am still having trouble moving that information over. This absolutely has to happen, losing that mail would be a disaster. But it's really turning into quite the challenge. I've read pages and pages and pages of methods for how to do this, but seriously...

Just sigh.

Anyhow, so far I'm really happy with the Macbook. Almost all my pictures are moved over too, and then I'll bring them into iPhoto. I got iWork installed today as well. I did get my contacts moved from Outlook to Address Book - via gMail. The iPhone is now sync'd with the Macbook as well.

It's really just my email. I'll get that over, one way or another, even if I have to use that crazy Eudora as an intermediary. Didja know that used to be my favorite email program at HCN? Those were the days.

I'd use OS/2 if it was still viable.

Anyhow, Tiayr arrives tomorrow around 1ish. I still have to get some work done in the afternoon of course, which he knows. Other than putting a load of laundry away, this place is clean and I'm ready. My desk is a bit messy, but what do you expect? I have 3 computers stacked over here...
